A Little History

We‘re a family owned and operated company that built our business strictly by word of mouth.

In 1995 our founder, Jon Taylor, took a year off of college to help his dad build the house his parents would call home. Though he was majoring in biology and history, with plans to go into medicine, this one year adventure would prove to stoke a long term passion for building. 

After graduating college and spending several years in corporate sales,  he finally had to scratch the itch and he dove into full time residential construction.

He now has over 20 years of hands-on building experience, operations and management in custom homes, interior remodels, structural transformations and land development. 

Along the way, he realized that his most rewarding jobs involved helping customers create unique outdoor living structures and gathering spaces. No other projects had such an impact on bringing family and friends together and dramatically improving the customers quality of life. This is why we love what we do and why outdoor living became our specialty. 

Jon and his wife Monique have been married for over 11 years. They have a beautiful daughter they are extremely proud of, and an energetic little Havanese dog that keeps the whole family on their toes.
